Stephanie Papaioannou

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Stephanie has trained in a variety of styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop and modern, and has danced all over North America. She is a graduate of the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School where she received a degree in teaching, as well as Registered Teacher’s Status with the Royal Academy of Dance. Stephanie also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in dance (with honors) from York University. In July 2011 Stephanie attended the Dance Teacher Summit in New York City where she had the opportunity to train and attend teaching seminars with some of the world’s finest dance educators, including Mandy Moore.

Stephanie continues to dance and choreograph in Toronto in addition to teaching full time. Most recently she has danced in Sarah Slean’s new music video “Set it Free”, for Much Music’s commerical dance promotion of New.Music.Live, and choreographed for Toronto’s Chic-a-Boom Room.

Stephanie is looking forward to her fourth season with Swansea School of Dance!
