Season Fees

The following fees are for programs running from September 2026 to June 2027 plus an additional 13% HST. Season fees include a costume for our year-end performance.  

• 2 payments – due September 11, 2026 & January 11, 2027. Payment must be made by VISA, Mastercard, cash and/or cheque (due at registration dated September 11, 2026 and January 11, 2027, payable to Swansea School of Dance).
• There is a $35 registration fee plus 13% HST per student that is processed at the time of registration to hold the dancer’s spot.

 

Family Discount & Multi Class Discount

• Siblings and parents receive a discount on class fees (Company classes are NOT included in the discount): 
  • For a family with more than one registered student, the student who takes the most classes pays the full Season Fee. The student with the lowest tuition receives the discount. Discounts are taken on the class(es) with the lowest tuition.
• Any student paying full Season Fees who takes 3 or more classes receives a discount on the 3rd and each additional class. 

 

Company Class Fee

• Performance costume, 1 Convention and 1 Team Swag Item are included in the Company class fee (Competition costumes are not included).

 

Adult Class Policies

• Drop-in classes for adults only are $30 cash for a 1 hr class. $32 for a 1.5 hr class.

• There is no costume fee for our adult classes.

 

Refund Policy

• The $35 registration fee and year-end performance costume fee are non-refundable.
• Any student who withdraws from a class before October 11, 2026 will be charged a withdrawal fee of $50 and will be refunded a pro-rated amount of the Payment 1 paid, plus 100% of Payment 2.
• Any student who withdraws from a class after October 11, 2026 and before January 11, 2027 will only be refunded Payment 2. No refunds will be issued after January 11, 2027.

Summer Camp Refund Policy

• Any student who withdraws from a summer camp before May 31, 2026 will be released with no financial penalty. 
• For withdrawals made after June 1, 2026 students will receive a 50% refund of the summer camp fee.

 

NSF Policy

There is a $30 charge for any cheque returned to us by the bank due to insufficient funds.

Late Fee Policy

Overdue accounts will be assessed interest charges of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) after 30 days.

Private & Semi Private Lessons

• We also offer private and semi-private lessons in ballet, jazz, or tap.
• Private – $80/hour   or   $40/half hour
  • Semi-Private lessons in ballet, jazz, or tap.
  • Semi-Private – $50/hour   or   $25/half hour
